I am an EMDRIA certified EMDR Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (#130175) with a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from CSU, Northridge.
But, I am not just my education... I am a mom of 1 spunky little girl, 4 lovable cats, and 1 high-spirited dog! I love doing yoga, Brazilian Jui Jitsu, and exploring nature in my spare time. I incorporate these aspects of myself so we can have a real therapeutic relationship, rather than me being "some person" on the other side of a screen.
I specialize in treating individuals with trauma (which includes anxiety and depression) through the lens of DBT and EMDR. I will provide a safe and validating environment that will aid you in exploring the past, taking accountability for the present, and creating the future you desire. I love to combine my creativity along with client’s strengths in an effort to enhance the therapeutic experience and make the often tough experience of change more manageable.
