Life can be incredibly painful at times. I’ve been there too and strive to be that steady, yet gentle support that we all need in times of struggle. As a licensed Counselor and Dance/Movement Therapist, I integrate traditional talk therapy with movement techniques to address both emotional and physical aspects of healing.
With over fifteen years of experience supporting people through crises, I’ve seen firsthand that growth is always possible. My goal is to help you listen to your feelings and find creative ways to meet your needs even in the midst of challenging times. I focus on understanding you as a whole person, regardless of any diagnosis you’ve received, and work with you to build a life that aligns with your personal values and goals.
I take a collaborative approach, where we check in during the last 5-10 minutes of each session to review what was most and least helpful and identify tweaks to the therapeutic approach so that your next session is even more beneficial. While evidence-based techniques are an integral part of my practice, I know that our strong therapeutic relationship and your active involvement are the most important factors to you meeting your goals.
