Dr. Elizabeth Pearce, PsyD is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with advanced training in Narcissistic Abuse Treatment, and in Perinatal Mental Health. Dr. Elizabeth specializes in walking with survivors of emotional (and narcissistic) abuse through the stages of identifying patterns of abuse and neglect, healing, and moving forward in your life and relationships. Dr. Elizabeth also supports women in the childbearing years (pregnancy and fertility issues, postpartum mental mood and anxiety, birth trauma), as well as relationship issues and general trauma.
Dr. Elizabeth’s work focuses on the importance of compassionate witness - from your therapist, and within yourself, decreasing the shame that painful experiences often create. She skillfully and intuitively utilizes Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help clients meet and heal the burdened, hurting parts of themselves. Dr. Elizabeth finds that her clients often benefit, too, from understanding how the brain and nervous system have been impacted by past experiences and relationships, and how this affects your emotional well-being and response style in the present. Cognitive and skills-based approaches help clients better manage in the here and now. She focuses on the whole person, mind, body, and spirit to unlock growth.
