Hi! I serve teens and adults who manage a variety of issues. Maybe you try to keep busy and distracted because you don’t want to be alone with your thoughts. You often feel irritable; others have said you're “too sensitive.” You feel guarded and hesitant to let people get too close. It's easy to second-guess your feelings and whether they are valid. It's instinct to blame yourself for past mistakes. As a result, your self-worth is not what it could be.
I believe in the human capacity to self-heal - especially when equipped with the right tools. I also believe in healing through connection and relationships. Deep healing and growth occur through respectful and authentic relationships, including the counselor-client relationship. Because you are unique, I tailor my approach to your unique situation. Depending on your concerns, we'll develop a treatment plan that outlines your goals and details ways in which we can work toward achieving them. I am LBGTQIA+ affirming, racial justice allied, an advocate for sexual assault survivors, and a promoter of body positivity. I also have experience supporting individuals who are chronically ill. I love The Office, reading fantasy novels, cooking Indian food, and fighting for all that is good in the world.
