When life is touched by illness, loss, caregiving or burnout, therapy can be a compass to help you navigate through the storms to calmer waters. My clients are adults of all ages who may also identify as students, patients, survivors, caregivers, family members, healthcare professionals or first responders, and more.
Clients come to me for help with the emotional and practical concerns that arise with complicated medical diagnoses & chronic illnesses, caregiving, grief, all types of loss, professional burnout, trauma, and life transitions.
Therapy will help you adjust, cope and regain a sense of control. I provide a safe space for you to be valued, seen and heard, and guide you in processing difficult or traumatic experience(s). If you are in crisis, the immediate work is on crisis resolution and restoring your functioning.
With dedication, compassion and collaboration, I help you to clarify and prioritize your goals for therapy. We identify strategies, tools and resources to help you adjust to new realities, to improve your quality of life, and to called upon to guide you on your ongoing journey. We develop a plan for moving forward in a way that is comfortable for you and based on your identified values and inner strengths.
Mutual trust and respect is at the core of the therapist/client relationship. I meet you where you are and do not judge. Whether you are seeking a safe space to talk about your thoughts, feelings and experiences, or are in need of practical guidance for moving through the day and for what lies ahead, therapy can help.
Not sure if therapy is for you? Or are you sure about therapy but unsure whether we might be the right fit? Give me a call, I love to chat and would enjoy getting to know you and answering any questions you may have.
My practice is inclusive of all individuals and values diversity, equity & inclusion.
